The town of Weymouth recently mourned the loss of fallen police officer, Michael Chesna, who was killed in the line of duty. His tragic death made quite an impact on the town, inspiring many residents to step up and support his family left behind, as well as honor his memory.
When a friend's sister posted on Facebook that she needed tabletop easels for a silent auction charity fundraiser she was co-hosting (to honor the fallen police officer), owner Robert of RR Veteran Contracting immediately offered to build and donate 10 wooden tabletop easels within that same week. Note: These easels would be used to display framed sports prints, framed autographed jerseys, etc. Having never built them before, Robert wasn’t at all worried. He knew it was for a good cause, and plus, he already had a basic design in mind. And so, he delivered on his promise: Did you know in Massachusetts there is a Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) program? Offered by the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, "the Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) law was created in 1992 to protect consumers and regulate the business practices of contractors." Furthermore, according to the HIC program website, "all contractors, partnerships, and corporations that solicit, bid on, or perform residential contracting as a contractor or subcontractor on an existing one to four unit owner occupied residential property in Massachusetts must be registered as a Home Improvement Contractor." Rest assured, RR Veteran Contracting is a licensed contractor (HIC # 188267).
Contact RR Veteran Contracting today for your end of summer home renovation projects! While the weather is still nice, it is a good time to repair any rotted wood on decks, add some fresh new paint, etc.
